An open will is an act of disposition formalized before a notary, which allows us to dispose of our present and future assets at the time of death in favor of the person(s) or entities of our interest.
The lack of a will results in the distribution of our assets in favor of the people established by law and in the order determined therein, without taking into account our will. Hence the importance of making a will.
The donation can be of all of our assets or of part of the aforementioned assets (inheritance) or also of specific assets (legacy) and includes all types of movable assets (money, financial assets, etc.) or immovable assets (flats, plots, etc.).
